Brooktree — Haustech's first completed fire-rebuild project — is a fully integrated home built around Josh AI, with natural-language voice control layered over automation, lighting, shading, audio, and security.

Video stays local to each Apple TV at the display, while audio is distributed separately through Sonos amplifiers throughout the house. That source-local, audio-distributed approach gives the home all the reliability of a simpler system — no single central media rack to depend on — with none of the compromise on a fully automated experience.

Lighting and shading run on Lutron QSX and Sivoia. Network is built on UniFi, surveillance on Ring, and intercom on Doorbird. Microphones placed throughout the property let Josh AI trigger nearly any function by voice, in addition to touch panels and the iOS and Android app.

The result: a self-sufficient, highly reliable smart home — full automation without a heavy central-rack dependency.
